Youth Gold Team 2025-2026

PRACTICE: Start Team Practice on Tuesday Aug 25, 2026

Tuesday 6-7:30am, Thursdays 6-7:30am Technique is included in team practice.

FEES: 2026-2027 Yearly Fee $680 or $85 Monthly Fee (Sept-April), $150 costume fee, due Oct 1, Non refundable.

SHOES: Boys—Latin, Smooth

Girls—Latin, Smooth

COMPETITIONS: Youth Gold Team goes to 5 competitions a year in the month of Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, April. Exact Dates listed - TBA

Expectations:

  • Youth GoldTeam is our top competition team. They will learn dance routines and technique that will highlight their current abilities and encourage team members to continually grow and improve their skill level.

  • Each Youth Gold Team member is considered to be in a position of leadership and is expected to conduct themselves in a way that serves as a role model for other dancers. We encourage Youth Team members to fellowship and help other team members feel part of the team. We expect that respect for self, team members, and coaches is prevalent.

  • Youth Gold Team members should be good examples to all CVB dancers in being committed and punctual to all events throughout the year.

  • Each Youth Gold Team dancer is requited to compete in team events at Extreme, Synergy/Provo Comp, Utah Classic, Skyridge, and Gem State Nationals.

  • Each Youth Gold Team member is highly encouraged to compete in individual Syllabus events and/or Open dances at competitions.

  • Youth Gold Team members are required to participate in team choreography bootcamp.

  • We highly encourage all Youth Gold Team members to take private lessons even after they have learned their syllabus and open routines in order to continually improve their ballroom dance skills and technique.

  • Drug and alcohol use is strictly forbidden while on any CVB team.

  • Youth Gold Team members are asked to dance with a local star in the DWTS fundraiser.

Each Youth Gold Team Member should have fun and make our teams enjoyable! We love teaching you and want you to remember this time as an uplifting and influential part of your life! You are part of giving this same experience to all other competition teams and their members!
