PRACTICE: Tuesday 6-7:30am, Wednesdays 4:30pm-6:00pm

TECHNIQUE: Wednesdays 6:00-7:00pm

FEES: 2024-2025 Yearly Fee $765 or $85 Monthly Fee (Sept-May), $170 costume fee, due Oct 2, Non refundable. Subject to change for 2025-2026 dance year

COMPETITIONS: Please put these dates on your calendar, we really need all dancers to compete. Utah Classic (Layton, UT)- February 20-21, 2026 Skyridge Classic (Lehi, UT) - March 27-28, 2026 Gem State Classic (Idaho Falls, ID) - April 16-18, 2026 Extreme Dancesport Festival (Rexburg, ID) - April, 2025

Expectations:

  • Youth GoldTeam is our top competition team. They will learn dance routines and technique that will highlight their current abilities and encourage team members to continually grow and improve their skill level.

  • Each Youth Gold Team member is considered to be in a position of leadership and is expected to conduct themselves in a way that serves as a role model for other dancers. We encourage Youth Team members to fellowship and help other team members feel part of the team. We expect that respect for self, team members, and coaches is prevalent.

  • Youth Gold Team members should be good examples to all CVB dancers in being committed and punctual to all events throughout the year.

  • Each Youth Gold Team dancer is required to compete in team events at the Synergy DanceSport Festival, Skydrige Classic, Utah Classic, Gem State National, Quickstep Challenge and Extreme Dancesport Festival competitions.

  • Each Youth Gold Team member is required to compete in individual Syllabus events and/or Open dances at Synergy Dancesport in Jan and Gem State Nationals in March. They are highly encouraged to compete in individual syllabus events at all other competitions to gain experience before Gem State.

  • Youth Gold Team members are required to participate in team choreography bootcamp.

  • We highly encourage all Youth Gold Team members to take private lessons even after they have learned their open routines in order to continually improve their ballroom dance skills and technique.

  • Drug and alcohol use is strictly forbidden while on any CVB team.

  • Youth Gold Team members are asked to choreograph and dance with a local star in the DWTS fundraiser.

Each Youth Gold Team Member should have fun and make our teams enjoyable! We love teaching you and want you to remember this time as an uplifting and influential part of your life! You are part of giving this same experience to all other competition teams and their members!
