PRACTICE: Starting Team practices on Thursday Sept 3, 2025. Thursdays 4:30-5:30pm

TECHNIQUE: Thursdays 5:30-6pm

FEES: 2025-2026 - $480, Monthly Fee - $60 (Sept-April) - $130 costume fee, Due Oct 1, Non Refundable.

COMPETITIONS: Please put these dates on your calendar, we really need all dancers to compete. Utah Classic (Layton, UT) - February 20-21, 2026 Gem State Classic (Rexburg, ID) - April 18-19, 2026.

  • Preteen Team is our beginning competition team for Preteen age dancers. Preteen Team dancers will continue to be successful in their efforts as members of Cache Valley Ballroom as they learn dance routines and technique that will help improve their dance skill and help them advance in continuing years.

  • Each Preteen Team dancer is required to compete in team events at the Utah Classic, and Gem State National competitions.

  • Preteen Team members are required to participate in team choreography bootcamp.

  • Each dancer is encouraged to compete in a Junior Syllabus (individual couples event) at either Utah Classic or Gem State or both.

  • Preteen Team members should be good examples to all other competition teams in being committed and punctual to all CVB events throughout the year.

  • Each Preteen Team dancer should have fun and help make our teams enjoyable! We expect that you will be kind, supportive, and inclusive to all CVB dancers.

  • Drug and alcohol use is strictly forbidden while on any CVB team.

    • We love teaching you and want you to remember this time as an uplifting and influential part of your life! You are part of giving this same experience to all other competition teams and their members!
